As you may have seen, GuideToVaping.com had a few problems that started late last night up until 2:40 today. The site was hacked by a random idiot that obviously didn’t know what he was doing.
His attempt was to use a script that would auto inject code into every index.php. The index is the page you see, so iframing it and other methods like what he was trying is common to see in attacks. We’ve scattered through the code and thanks to Brett (GTV’s graphic designer, coder and Mr. fix-it), we’ve managed to get rid of the bad and continue with the GuideToVaping project as normal. Don’t worry, the attacker’s tool didn’t drop malware, as that was his intended goal, so everyone is fine.
We’re still unsure how the attacker got into GuideToVaping.com, so we’re still working on trying to lock up all the doors. I’ll reply to this post if we discover anything new.

what a douchebag
Agreed. It’s all good, nothing stopping us. I think it’s given me more motivation to keep building to be honest.
