The meaning behind automatic vs. manual is that the battery is automaticlly activated or if it’s manually activated. Some e-cigs require you to push a button to activate the battery while others you don’t have to press anything at all. Personally I would rather use a manual vs. a automatic. The reason to that is that when you have to manually press a button to activate the battery, you are saving a lot more battery time, which should be of course common sense.
