Aspire, a steadfast name in the design of vaping tanks since the early days is stepping up its game with an upgraded Cleito capable of pushing 120 watts of pure sub-ohm power. Aspire was the company I trusted with my very first tank, and they’ve always had a soft spot in my heart. Up to this point, they may not have been the first to develop a concept, but they’ve always produced high quality items that do their jobs well. Over the course of the next couple of minutes we’ll take a closer look at the Cleito 120 Maxi Watt Tank, it’s improvements on the original Cleito, and find out where you can grab one today.
Aspire’s Redesigned Cleito
High wattage, high performance, and meticulous attention to detail set the Cleito 120 Maxi Tank apart from the rest of its family. Measuring in with a 25mm diameter, it’s not the smallest tank, comparable to the TFV4 from Smok, but this simplistic design hides some killer secrets. Keeping some of the elements that made the Cleito one of the fastest selling tanks on the market earlier this year, Aspire has taken the design a few extra steps from a good design to a great one.
Constructed from 304 Stainless Steel and glass, the system looks overly simple as they have done away with the need for a static chimney, focusing instead on the center piece of the ensemble. 24k Gold plates the positive connection of the 510 connector for optimal conductivity throughout the tank, but this is just the tip of the iceberg. Airflow control and design within the Cleito Maxi have been altered significantly for the better, moving to a triple 11mm by 2mm setup for insane amounts of fresh air to be pulled through the coil.
A food grade wide-bore drip tip and removable top cap give way to show the 4mm filling port, fully sealed with gasket to make sure that no leakage occurs while the tank is in use. Remove the top plate entirely while no coil is installed and you are left with an empty glass vessel capable of holding over 4ml of e-liquid (although attempting this without a coil is not recommended as juice will leak everywhere).
As impressive as these improvements are though, the Cleito Maxi would be nothing without the signature coil system that Aspire has put into this beast. Stretching the entire inner length of the tank, the Cleito 120 coil has a Clapton structure wicked with organic Japanese cotton for immense flavor and cloud production. Rated for use between 100 and 120 watts, the Cleito maxi is not designed for low volume vapers who enjoy cool vapes, this beast is designed to create clouds, heat, and flavor.
While some people may ask exactly why they would need a tank that can happily fire at 100 watts all day, there are a great many vapers who have waited for a development just like this to come along. As a long time fan of Aspire products, my judgement may not be the most unobjective in this matter, but as far as I am concerned, this has the potential to be one of the best sub-ohm tanks we will see on the market.BUY IT HERE
