10 Best Inexpensive Mechanical Mods

9. Panzer Black Hawk Mechanical Mod

panzer black hawkWhat’s beginning to seem like every mechanical mod, the Panzer Black Hawk, manufactured by Masterpiece Custom Vapes, is based in the Philippines.  The shop and mech mod manufacturer is owned by Joy Soriano, which also makes a quite appealing mechanical box mod know as the “Cherry Bomber”, the Overdose, top caps and drip tips for the vaping market.  “MCV” also happens to be the maker of the Little Boy, a rebuildable dripping atomizer that has become a very popular and sought out after atomizer in the market.  What many do not know is that there are many versions of the Panzer, and the Black Hawk is one of them.  Another notable Panzer is the Tiger Panzer – a “Pro Series” version, and there are many more that will go unmentioned.

The Black Hawk is a 304 stainless steel mechanical mod that has been gun-metal coated.  The Black Hawk became a very popular mod within the vaping market because it goes beyond the simple tube look and instead has a body that is very loud with etchings, engravings and curves, which truly separates this mod from others currently on the market.  If a stealth look is what MCV was going for, they definitely found the balance with its appearance and really created one of the best looking mech to date.

The Black Hawk adapts to any battery size between an 18350 and 18650 by simply adding or removing modular tubes.  A standard 510 connector and non-flat cap makes the Black Hawk compatible with almost any 510 atomizer that you attach to it.  In addition, the Black Hawk edition mechanical mod comes with a bottom firing button that sports a rather interesting bottom mounted lock ring.  The switch and threads throughout the device have been machined to excellence, giving the Black Hawk a buttery smooth feeling that really delivers that sense of quality.  It also sports a solid copper center pin to ensure maximum voltage and current is delivered effectively to the atomizer.  The connector is also a floating center pin style, which allows any atomizer to make a solid contact with the Black Hawk.

Just like the others on this list, we’ve found the cloned version that will allow a much more affordable purchase.

  1. The only thing is, is most of these mods you can find on fast tech for very cheap. Why not do an article about the 10 least expensive authentic mechanical mod?

    • I personally couldn’t agree with you more Paul but as with most of these Vape Deal websites or mod blogs they have all been sponsored by FastTech or any one of the many Chinese marketeers.
There are actually a lot of inexpensive authentic mechanical mods out these days whether they’re authentic US or authentic China made they are their authentic and not clones.

  2. There are a lot of US sites that offer great inexpensive mech mods. I feel like the writer was just too lazy to do any real research. Check out Angelcigs, 101 Vapes, Sweet Vapes, etc. You can even get some pretty good deals on ebay.
Shame on you for sending everyone straight to Fasttech for everything where everyone knows you take a chance of hit or miss when buying from them.

    • That isn’t the case at all. I wasn’t being lazy – in fact, posts about products are the easiest to write about. I linked to FastTech because the lowest price someone can get is typically what is wanted. Trust me, I can link to plenty of other sites, but many find themselves looking for the absolute best deal, and that is what I offered.

      • I’m very confused, as the lancelot, vapesirs, is created by Jason borne, out of the phillipines… missouri??? where’d that come from?

        • That’s what I found with research. I’m pretty sure that’s right, but I would have to research again to become more familiar with it and where it came from. After thousands of posts, it’s easy to forget many factors — I apologize.

  3. Are these clones from Fast tech

  4. this is EXACTLY the kind of post I was looking for, thank you!

  5. Just so that you know… for the FUhattans that you linked are actually a clone of a clone. The ones that have 1/1 on the button is the original Manhattan clone… the one with the mickey mouse doing the middle finger are clones of a clone. not that its a problem, but just thought people should know.

    • Sorry George but you are soooo wrong, the original fu hattans was Manhattan mods that Av didn’t pay for.so the company renamed them and sold them to make up for lost revenues.
