When you purchase a watermelon liquid, you are expecting it to taste like a watermelon, right? Well, this isn’t the case here at all. When I first vaped with the watermelon e-liquid purchased from liberty-flights, I was excited in hopes for that bubble gum type taste or even something remotely close to it. My first taste was that of something sweet, but not a watermelon sweet. It seemed as if the liquid had a weird sweet type taste to it that I was unable to really describe. I wouldn’t say this is a bad taste, but it seems as if it’s missing something, which I’ll explain further into as you read into this review.
Vaping the watermelon was far from being ‘bad’, but it definitely wasn’t my pick of the litter if you would say. The throat hit wasn’t that great but it for sure left an after taste in your mouth to remember. The amount of vapor it produced is quite astonishing compared to some of the other liquids that I’ve tried. Remember earlier when I said that the liquid felt as if it was missing something? Well, when I said that, I’ve hit the nail right on the head. What watermelon is missing is a ‘kick’ to it, and I was destined to add that extra kick. I began mixing other liquids that I’ve grown quite fond of, and after 2-3 liquids, I’ve found the right mixture. I popped off my drip tip, dripped two drops of watermelon and two drops of menthol blend, which was also purchased from liberty-flights. With those two mixtures, man let me tell you… The taste is amazing! You get the small hint of a menthol/tobacco flavor and then comes in a hint of something sweet. That small hint of something sweet taste really sets this amazing mixture off the charts. Honestly, I haven’t found a liquid that can even compete with this that I have personally tried.
Although, some of you may need to understand that these liquids are all about personal taste and opinion, but if anything, I would definitely recommend the purchase of the watermelon flavor at least just to mix with another liquid. The dose I used for this review was PG Watermelon 24mg.
