Increase The Lifespan of Your Clearomizers

smok tfv4The clearomizers are the tricky one’s… one minute they’re working flawlessly and the next they’re leaking like a sieve.  This issue isn’t always your fault, although technically normal wear and tear is solely on you.  However, there are many factors that come into play when speaking of clearomizers.  They work great when they’re working, but as soon as an issue makes light, you’ll quickly feel like the world is going to end.  There’s the potential of leaking, bad o-rings, grimy contacts and more.  A cure for this virus that makes its way to our beloved clearomizers, is again, proper and regular maintenance.  Clearomizers, because of the way they’re designed and the parts they use, can easily become damaged or can malfunction.  The best way to increase the lifespan of your clearomizer is to first and foremost handle it with care.

Since clearomizers are now commonly using a glass material for its tank portion, using something like a vape band can prevent the glass from break in the case of an accidental drop.  The o-rings on the top and bottom base of your clearomizer should also be replaced every few months, as they endure normal wear.  The threading on your clearomizer should also be cleaned thoroughly so that you avoid the potential of crossing the threads.  Since clearomizers often have adjustable airflow control, it’s also a wise decision to run disassemble the clearomzier and run warm water throughout the airflow valve.  By doing this, you’ll clean out any e-liquid residue and gunk that may have formed inside the housing of the base.

Additionally, you’ll obviously want to replace your coil heads often, even if you can suffer through the lacking performance and make your coils last.  The reason why you’ll want to replace them, even if you can make them last, is because each coil head includes an o-ring or multiple o-rings to prevent e-liquid from seeping into the housing of the clearomizer’s base.  When these o-rings have been damaged or aren’t sealing as they should, e-liquid will leak into the base, which is where your airflow travels through.  Another great reason to replace your coil often is because the longer you use the coil, they less it produce the same satisfactory results that it once did when it was new.  If you want to increase the lifespan of your clearomizers, these are the steps you must take if you want them to continue working properly.
