Kanger Announces The ProTank 4

West Coast Vape Supply

For those of you that thought Kanger did away with the ProTank series, you’ll be pleased to know that even though they let the series of tanks sit on the sideline for a while, they’ve finally created their newest addition, rejuvenating the series with a more modern appearance that utilizes today’s technology.  That’s right, the Kanger ProTank 4 is here!

For years Kanger dominated the market with its ProTank series tanks, offering superb quality and a great performance during its time.  The ProTank was the originator of sub-ohm coils, which then sparked the sub-ohm tank boom that now has a whole market of its own.  The ProTank was the very product that made Kanger so popular, granted its Evod battery and tank series made quite an impact as well.  Once the sub-ohm tank boom hit, Kanger quickly jumped ship in order to keep up with consumer demand and the industry’s latest trend.

On April 20th, 2016 Kanger began sharing that a new product was coming, hyping its following.  Just 6 days later the Kanger ProTank 4 was announced, gaining quite the attention and many questions soon after.  You may be wondering what this evolved ProTank 4 has to offer or what makes it so special in the long list of tanks that’s already available.  Though the ProTank 4 is an evolved product within the series, it still continued with one of its main roots, like being Mouth To Lung (MTL) friendly.

Here’s a list of features the new ProTank 4 has to offer:

  • protank 4Stainless Steel Construction
  • Top and Side Fill Design
  • Ability To MTL and DL Inhale
    • Mouth To Lung / Direct Lung
  • Drip Tip With Adjustable Airflow Control
  • Bottom Adjustable Airflow Control
  • Child Lock Design
  • DIY Kit Included
    • Dual Clapton Coil / Velocity Style Deck
  • 5mL E-Liquid Capacity
  • SSOCC / OCC Compatible
  • Includes:
    • 1x Ceramic Coil Head
    • 1x 1.5Ω MTL Coil Head

Kanger is claiming that this new ProTank 4 is the one tank for all vapers, no matter the preference or experience level.  The question now is, will the ProTank Series gain as much traction as it once did year’s ago?  What are your thoughts, do you see this evolved ProTank becoming a big hit once again?  Let us know in the comments below!

INFO: The ProTank 4 is set to be available early May and will retail for $35.90.

  1. I have the Protank 4. Great for sub ohm. I’m struggling with the 1.5 coil and MTL. I actually bought it to replace my Protank 3 . I prefer MTL for tobacco flavors. I use a Nebox and Drip on a Freakshow. Lung hitting requires a break after awhile.
