The 5 Things You Need for Any Vaping Emergency

West Coast Vape Supply

Owning a truly reliable vaping device is a great thing, and today’s vaping hardware is more reliable than ever. It’s no wonder that most of today’s troops have turned to vaping instead of continuing to smoke. As dependable as today’s vaping devices are, though, no gadget can continue to work perfectly forever. Eventually, you’re going to encounter a vaping emergency because your device suddenly stops holding a charge or refuses to turn on. You might also find yourself unexpectedly unable to vape because you’ve run out of your last bottle of e-liquid or because you’ve burned out your last coil. There are many potential points of failure in vaping – and if you experience a problem at any one of those points, you can’t vape at all.

What would you do if you were suddenly unable to vape? Do you have a stash of emergency vaping supplies, or do you only buy what you need, as you need it? If you suddenly found yourself unable to vape, would you be tempted to buy a pack of cigarettes? If you’re the type who only buys vape gear as you need it, this article will explain an alternative way of doing things. These are the five things that you must have available in order to get through any vaping emergency without being tempted to revert to smoking.

A Reliable Vape Shop That’s Open Every Day

The first thing that you need in order to get through any vaping emergency is a reliable vape shop. Some stores do close on the weekends, so it’s a very good idea to identify a local vape shop open on Sunday. In an emergency, of course, you could always grab a mainstream vape kit from your local gas station or convenience store. There are three reasons, however, why that’s not a good idea if you can avoid it.

  • A mainstream vaping device will probably have a significantly higher nicotine strength than what you’re currently using if you’re already a full-time vaper. There’s no reason to increase your nicotine intake if you don’t need to.
  • Since pre-filled vape pods and cartridges are only available in tobacco and menthol flavors in the United States, you’re probably not going to enjoy the taste very much.
  • Buying a vape kit that you don’t actually intend to use is a fairly expensive proposition.

If you run out of vaping supplies and need to get something right away, you’re going to have an infinitely better experience if you buy what you’re already accustomed to using. You’ll only get those types of supplies from a real vape shop – so find a vape shop that’s open when you need it.

A Supply of Emergency E-Liquid

Do you have a stash of extra e-liquid that you can use when you run out of your favorite flavor unexpectedly? Extra vape juice is always a very good thing to have available – and if it’s a flavor that you don’t love, you won’t be tempted to use it instead of saving it for a rainy day. Of course, you don’t really want to spend a bunch of money on vape juice you know you don’t like – so a good way to build up an emergency supply is simply by experimenting frequently with new flavors. Trying new things is a big part of what makes vaping so much fun anyway, and it’s almost certain that you’re not going to love every flavor you try. If you buy an e-liquid and don’t love it, don’t throw it away – just save it for an emergency.

Spare Batteries or an Extra Vaping Device

When a vaping device stops working, the most common reason – aside from dropping the device on a hard surface or in water – is because the battery stops holding a charge. Every lithium-ion battery will eventually stop working, and that often happens with no warning. One day, you’ll simply connect your vaping device to the charging cable, and it’ll sit there for hours without the battery ever filling up. It’s very common for that to happen without the battery first showing a sign of having a decreased charge capacity. If your vaping device has removable batteries, it’s very easy to have a workaround available for when your existing batteries stop working – you can just have another pair of batteries available. If you prefer vaping devices with built-in batteries, then it’s wise to own a backup device. Vape mods and vape pens are very affordable these days, so it’s not usually too much of a burden to have an emergency device available.

A Spare USB Cable

If you’re a frequent gadget buyer, there’s a good chance that you already have plenty of spare USB cables kicking around. Maybe you throw all of your extra cables into a box or drawer, so you can always grab a new cable when the one you’re using stops working. If you’re not a big gadget lover, though, you might not be aware of how unreliable USB cables can sometimes be. A USB cable that’s connected and disconnected several times each day will gradually develop internal faults, and it’ll eventually reach a point at which it can no longer carry power reliably. At that point, you may find that your vaping device takes longer than usual to charge or that it no longer charges at all. If you have difficulty charging your vaping device, trying a new USB cable should always be your first line of defense – but you can only do that if you have a spare cable available.

A Rebuildable Atomizer and Coil Building Supplies

What would you do if you suddenly burned out your last vape coil – or if your local vape shop suddenly ran out of the coils that you usually use? If you’re the type of person who always loves tinkering with new vape gear, it’s possible that you already have a wide selection of extra tanks and coils available. If you don’t, though, you should consider buying a rebuildable atomizer. Many vape shops sell coil building kits that include all of the tools you need to build a new coil from scratch. With a coil building kit along with a rebuildable atomizer, a spool of wire, and a package of cotton, you’ll have everything you need to build dozens of coils.
