3. Vaping Will Crush The Economy
This may not apply to the general public who are happily aiding and abetting those who have this primal desire to crush vaping, but it is certainly true of those who are pushing the fight onward. It is not THE economy they refer to, but THEIR economy. The corporations, the con men and the political machines that rely so heavily on the merry-go-round of smoking and the “approved cessation” methods to generate vast amounts of money, regardless of the effect it may have on the health and well-being of the very people who follow and support them.
When we have whole states that are levied up to the eyeballs in debt accumulated against potential future earnings from tobacco sales, of course the politicians are going to side with the cigarette companies while making the general public think it is because of the other reasons on this list. People living longer due to vaping will cause more people to draw from retirement funds and social security. People who should have died due to smoking related illnesses and this kind of behavior shall not be tolerated.
