Vaper Empire Viggo Vape Pod Review

West Coast Vape Supply

Pod vapes are getting better and Vaper Empire’s new Viggo Series is proof. It doesn’t leak, recharges fast, and lasts a surprisingly long time between charges. It also has variable voltage technology that provides three options for operating voltage and its pods are filled with a high-grade vape juice that makes use specially formulated nicotine salts. Clearly, there are a lot of reasons to appreciate the Viggo, that is if you’re into pod systems.

Appearance

While some of the more popular pod vapes have hard edges and boxy designs, the Viggo brings a refreshingly ergonomic design to the table. All of the edges are smoothed out and rounded. Add its soft-touch matte black metal exterior to the picture and the result is a soft, yet solid device that looks as good as it vapes.

The pods, which hold 1.8ml of Vaper Empire e-juice, are transparent. While this is fairly standard when it comes to vape pod designs, the benefit is being able to quickly and easily see how much vape juice is left in a pod, which lets you know when it’s time for a replacement.

Features

Some of the most popular pod vapes lack a feature that many vapers have come to appreciate since its introduction to the world of vaping hardware: variable voltage. With built-in variable voltage technology, the Viggo begs to be customized to meet its user’s preference.

The pods, which Vaper Empire calls ViggoPods, have a leak-free design that’s more than just another selling point, it’s a reality. One of the worst experiences a pod vaper can have is a leaking vape pod and it’s an experience that Viggo users just don’t have thanks to the leak-free design of ViggoPods.

The Viggo’s 400 mAh battery has long-lasting vaping power that can get most vapers through the day and then some, which is especially impressive when you consider the fact that it only takes one hour to completely recharge.

Auto-draw, also known as button-free vaping, allows the Viggo to be used without pressing a button each time the user wants to take a puff. Vaper Empire calls this convenient technology the Breathe Easy Draw-Activation System and it definitely does what it’s supposed to do, which is activate the vape’s vapor production when it detects that it’s being used.

Pod Flavors

This is where things get really interesting. Sure, the Viggo has a nice battery with some useful features, but the quality of the e-liquid in its pods is a critical element that can’t be overlooked when assessing the overall quality of the Viggo pod system. Vaper Empire, which has been in business since 2012, is not known for cheap e-liquid. Much the opposite, in fact. Their e-liquid, widely considered to be premium quality, is high-grade. It’s manufactured the right way: to EU standards (TPD compliant) inside of cleanrooms housed inside of multi-million dollar manufacturing facilities. High-quality ingredients and pharmaceutical-grade nicotine salt. You get the picture.

As for flavors, ViggoPods come in quite a few. There are currently nine flavors in total, but there could be more in the future. For now, this includes:

  • Whole Leaf Tobacco
  • Caramel Tobacco
  • Tobacco
  • Flat White Coffee
  • Blueberry
  • Apple
  • Menthol
  • Orange Crush
  • Creamy Custard

Performance

Here’s what you vapers really want to know, how well the Viggo actually works. The quick answer is that it works great. The slightly longer answer is that it produces smooth vapor that is very tasty and it packs a noticeable amount of throat hit without being anywhere near overwhelming.

The battery performs exceptionally well for how small it is, lasting well over twenty-four hours between charges. And it performs just as well when it comes to recharging, as it charges to full in about an hour or less.

The voltage settings are a bit subtle but they do offer some flexibility that’s not always found in pod systems.

Overall, the Viggo is one impressive little vape.

Included With The Viggo Pod System

The Viggo pod vape can be purchased as a starter kit, of which there are two versions: standard and deluxe. Both versions come with pods, but the deluxe comes with more pods and it also includes a leather vape case to carry pods, extra batteries, and anything else you might need. Both kits also include a wall charger and a USB cable for recharging the vape battery. Either way, you can start vaping immediately regardless of which kit you buy because they both include everything you need to vape.
