Fruity Flavors And Colorful Labels Aren’t For Kids
Every Time I have a conversation with a concerned parent, it always begins with fruity flavors and advertising to entice children. My one and only question is simple:
Do you eat cardboard, when did your taste buds stop working?
My favorite place in any store… At 37 years old I still love candy
It is a non-argument used by politicians to get you to repeat, parrot fashion, the very things that they want you to say. I enjoy mint chocolate chip ice cream, candy and cakes, my sweet tooth is off the scales. As it happens, my e-liquid, the stuff I vape, tastes exactly like my favorite treats. The argument that grown ups don’t need flavors is ridiculous, we may not need them in a politicians eyes but we want them. They may be seen as “appealing to children” but the truth is, they appeal to humans, period.
The main reason vapers use flavored e-liquid is because they want to disassociate themselves from the flavor of tobacco. Don’t forget, these people are using these products to stay away from cigarettes, and if the strawberry banana smoothie is the best way for them to achieve that goal it is not our job to stand in their way.
The same can be said for the packaging and marketing of these products. If something looks dull and boring, chances are you wouldn’t buy it and there are now thousands of companies competing for space in the market. The government isn’t looking to restrict marketing these products to adult consumers, they are looking to entirely ban it, they are issuing a gag order to an entire industry and you are currently doing your level best to aid them in that fight.
