While our Best of 2015 event is still going on, it’s becoming quite apparent what the vaping community feels is the best clearomizer of 2015. The TVFV4 from Smok is an innovator to say the least. Quickly rising to the top of our polls it is easy to see why it is such a popular choice. The stainless steel frame and Pyrex glass are about far as the similarities to its predecessors go. The hinged twist off top cap paved the way for an amazing top fill design so lazy vapers didn’t have to go through all the hassle of taking of their tank to fill it. Although with the massive 5 ml tank filling is not something you have to do very often. The dual airflow design in the base and drip tip allow for an entirely customizable vaping experience, allowing the user to get the perfect airflow to vapor production ratio. As far as vapor production goes, the coil systems developed for the TFV4 were unprecedented. Uwell Crown
The Uwell Crown is another beast waiting for you to release it from its cage. Constructed from stainless steel and quartz glass, it is felt by some to be indestructible. Featuring top and bottom filling options on its 4 ml capacity, this tank is at the top of our list for a variety of reasons. Supporting multiple coil configuration it offers variety of options for different user types, while the generous airflow allows the user to find their vaping sweet spot. Capable of firing up to 120 watts with the 0.25 Ω coil, this little power house is not to be over looked. Kanger SubTank Mini
The Kanger SubTank Mini is at the top of our list for many reasons, but the main one is community love. Everyone loves the SubTank Mini because it brought a whole new dimension to the clearomizer class. Its 4.5 ml tank holds enough e-liquid to keep you vaping for a while and the massive adjustable airflow in the base gives you the option to open her wide for killer clouds. Which ever style you choose, be it white, black or straight stainless steel, it is sleek and stylish on almost any device. While it uses a variety of standard OCC coils, the Kanger SubTank Mini can also use an optional RBA for those who prefer to create their own coils. While other companies have followed Kanger’s lead into the Sub Tank clearomizer market, many vapers fall back on this reliable tank and the various off shoots in its family. It is great for those who are just starting out on their vaping journey and experienced vapers alike, especially when you pair it with the Subox that helped to start the Sub Ohm starter kit revolution.

While many other tanks appeared in the list, these three have by far caught the hearts, minds and imaginations of vapers every where. As we close out 2015 with these guys sitting at the top of the pile, I find myself wondering about exactly what will be the next turn in the road. Who will bring about the next great innovation and set us on the path to further applications in tank designs. Only time can tell and with the New Year on the horizon, we are excited to see what will be unveiled.
