Just 2 days ago I shared with you an article explaining that CASAA has strategically came up with an action plan in hopes to defeat the FDA’s proposed regulations. Within that post, I told you I believe that using CASAA’s guidance would be our best chance to battle these regulations. CASAA asked that we should wait and within the next day or two, they would deliver the first of several Call to Actions.

With that said, CASAA has announced the first Call to Action and it is my duty to share it with you all in hopes that you will participate and re-share for more support against these regulations.

The First Call to Action is for CONSUMERS to request a 105-day extension of the comment period, requesting a total of 180 days to make comments. We understand that SFATA, AEMSA, and other industry groups will be providing similar guidance for vendors and manufacturers.

For this Call to Action, CASAA has prepared a suggested letter, which will allow you to simply copy and paste. In this letter, CASAA encourages you to edit to accurately reflect your views and circumstances. Included is instructions on how to request the extension.

I urge you to visit CASAA.org and read over this first Call to Action, along with participating to fight the FDA’s proposed regulations.
