In recent market news, there’s a new e-cigarette created by the Dutch. The stick e-cig or as most call it, cig-a-like, looks just like a traditional device, yet carries a marijuana leaf at the end where a green LED indicator is placed.
What the media is saying is that it’s the first electronic joint, which is why the makers have named it an E-Joint. Currently, the new E-Joint is being distributed all across Europe.
The new E-Joint is produced in the Netherlands by E-Njoint BV, a company that already makes 10,00 fruit-flavored joints each day that are sent out throughout Europe.
To outline this device with more detail – it is an electronic joint that allows users to fill the e-cigarette with their own cannabis liquid or dry herbs.

What’s saddening is that the quote above is far from the truth. The online e-cigarette community has worked vigorously to try and separate vaping e-liquid nicotine and vaping cannabis, which has been a small struggle up until now. By marketing what looks like an electronic cigarette as an electronic joint, it’s like adding fuel to the government officials and anti’s fire. It’s just like saying “Hey, here’s some more stuff you can throw in our face to try and paint e-cigs bad.”
It has always been a touchy subject for many vapers. Blog owners, such as myself, receive a lot of inquiries for advertising cannabis liquids and devices, but they are heavily avoided.
I try to avoid any contact with that area, legal or not. I don’t feel comfortable with it taking steps into this industry. As a smoker I was plagued with a certain image, just as many of us were. I believe if E-Joint’s become more widely known, I would hate to be looked at in a certain way just because I use my electronic cigarette. The public wouldn’t be able to tell if you’re vaping marijuana or liquid nicotine.
