The Vaporesso Target 75W VTC Kit is a vape mod that looks and feels like little else on the market today. It promises to be a great starter kit or on the go mod for more experienced vapers.
After 2 years in design and manufacturing, Vaporesso has brought us a device that not only looks like it belongs in a Sci-fi movie, but has some innovative features that set the coil system apart from what the market has become accustomed to.
Vaporesso Target 75W Kit Contents
When you open up the box, the first thing you will find is the instruction manual. Underneath that, you will find the Vaporesso Target VTC, the Target cCell tank, a spare coil and a USB charging cord.
Before you can use the vape mod, you will have to buy at least one 18650 battery from a reputable company, such as Sony, LG or Samsung.
Even though the market is flooded with a plethora of different “brands of batteries”, please bear in mind that whatever they claim to be, they are nothing more than 1 of the 3 brands I mentioned that didn’t make the grade at the factory.
Note: Be smart and buy the batteries that made it through quality control.
Why Would You Choose The Target
The Target has several features that I found to be pretty amazing. The first thing you will notice is that the firing button is more of a trigger than a switch. When you hold this device in your hand, something about it just feels right. Rather than being like the pistol grip of a firearm, it actually reminded me of a joystick from an old video game.
The dimensions of the device are 92 mm high, 48 mm front to back and 27 mm across the widest section of the mod. Seeing it in pictures is deceiving, until you actually put your hands on it, you don’t realize how small it is.
My favorite part about the Target is that it is truly ambidextrous, great for “lefties” or “righties”. They went as far as making the screen flip-able, something which in my mind has been missing from the market for a while. All it takes is 3 hits on the fire button. The rubber pad on the back of the mod is placed perfectly for resting your thumb while using the device, you can tell they took a lot of time and care making sure the ergonomic design would fit comfortably in the hand.
The battery door, situated in the rear is held in place with magnets, but you have to be careful when you remove the door as you have to pull it up from the bottom before pulling it out. There is a small tab at the top of the door that could easily become bent, or broken if you don’t pay attention. The functionality of the Target is similar to pretty much every other 75-watt temperature control device if you know how to operate any vape mod there is nothing here that is going to surprise or confuse you.
Let’s Talk About The Tank
The tank itself is stainless steel and glass construction, 22 mm wide and holds 3.5 ml of e-liquid. The bottom fill design is the only letdown for me personally with this tank, I guess I have become spoilt with the top fill’s that have been released recently.
It is the coil system in this tank that sets it apart from the competition. They call it the cCell coil structure, and it is basically a coil embedded inside a porous ceramic shell. The concept behind it is to reduce the chance of dry hits and to allow your coils to last much longer.
Around the outside of the ceramic is organic cotton for “auxiliary” wicking, which is achieved through the 3 triple hexagon wicking ports. These coils have no excuse to ever run you dry; unless of course the tank is empty. The coil system comes in Kanthal, for regular use and Ni 200 for temperature control.

Although I have only just got my hands on the Vaporesso Target, I will be dropping a full review in the next couple of weeks. My first impressions have been nothing but good for this device, it feels comfortable in the hand and so far it has done what I have asked. The prices I have seen are reasonable for a 75-watt starter kit, and I believe that this is one that will be sticking around for a while.
As always, enjoy your vaporizer and vape safe!
