A Complete Guide To The Innokin Bastion LIFT Box Mod

West Coast Vape Supply

Innokin Bastion LIFT Box Mod Operation

liftbox instructionHow To Power ON/OFF The LIFT Box Mod: By clicking the fire button 3 times you will have the ability to turn the LIFT Box on or off.

How To Fill The Siphon Tank: To fill the Siphon Tank you will need to remove the top cap from the 510 connector if it’s installed. Once removed it will expose the two fill ports surrounding the middle e-liquid inlet. If you remove the front panel to expose the tank and battery compartment, the left side of the tank will indicate a fill mark. Once filled, insert an RDA and ensure the seal is properly positioned on the connector.

How To Adjust The LIFT Box Airflow Control: The LIFT Siphon Tank features adjustable airflow control that when adjusted determines the adequate amount of suction needed to properly pull e-liquid from the tank and up into the atomizer. There are three airflow settings, including HIGH, MEDIUM, and LOW. You’ll want to adjust it to the amount of suction you need.  First, try taking a draw without firing on the HIGH setting and if it doesn’t pull liquid up from 2 draws, adjust it to a lower setting and try again.

How To Insert An 18650 Battery: Remove the front panel on the LIFT Box Mod. Doing this will expose the battery compartment. Insert an 18650 battery into the battery bay with the positive end of the battery facing downwards. There are also indicators on the internal panel to indicate which direction the battery should be inserted.

LIFT Box Mod Tips

How The Siphon System Works: The Siphon System Innokin has created stores e-liquid, acting as a tank. The tank has a tube in the middle that has holes in it to allow e-liquid to pass through. When the user takes a draw from an attached atomizer and enough suction is created due to closing off the attached atomizers airflow, e-liquid is pulled from the tank upwards into the tube, and finally throughout the BF pin on the atomizer.

How To Adjust The Siphon System For Your BF RDA: Adjusting the Siphon Tank is easy, but you’ll need to make sure you adjust it to suit your RDA. Opening the airflow wide open may allow in too much air and you won’t be able to create a good enough suction. This is why you’ll have to adjust the airflow dial to a setting where it will provide adequate suction for your RDA.

Siphon Tank Cleaning & Removal: Unfortunately, the LIFT Box Mod was made in a way where you can’t remove the Innokin Siphon Tank System. Innokin doesn’t provide any instructions on how to remove it or clean it. One can only assume that dumping out excess e-liquid or cleaning it with a syringe is the only way to clean out the inside.

False Marketing of Siphon System: Innokin claims that “the LIFT Siphon system automatically saturates coils with every puff.” However, that isn’t exactly accurate. Instead of automatically saturating the coils, you have to block off the airflow from your BF RDA by either adjusting the airflow control to completely close the air inlet or close the holes with your fingers to block the inlets. If those claims were true, this device would be leading the squonk market. If this is how the LIFT Siphon system worked, it would greatly increase the user experience and value of the device, because essentially it would become an auto-feeding system where juicing your coils would no longer be a manual task from a bottom feeding system.

What RDA Is Best For The LIFT Box Mod: Although you could technically use any RDA with the LIFT Box Mod, it was designed to be used with a BF (Bottom-Feeding) RDA. Any BF-friendly RDA will work just fine, though some will deliver different experiences.

  1. Thanks a lot for your article, as I supposed, it’s a shame, a lie, auto-squonking is not possible, I’m so frustrated because it’s been 2 days I try to make it works.
The only way, closing the airflow.
Worse, I tried it with the Innokin Thermo rda24, but closing airflow is impossible on it, appart having an elastic ring on it.. a shame.
Bu the box is so well designed, it’s a pleasure to have it in hands and symply watch it, not like a dotsquonk, but a bit of the same feeling…
I think I will have a payback and send back the Innokin bastion…

  2. The autosquonk is accurate in the name. I have been using it for a month. Athough it takes trial and error, once dialed in, I have had no need to cover my rda air inlets (wotofo profile mesh) to draw. I keep my lift air intake on low and my rda on 3/4 closed. Perfect hits and never dry.
Air balance is critical but if you want to succeed, try giving it more than a couple trys before giving up. I have used multiple rda’s with the liftbox and it is all about balance. Hope this sheds light on the discussion.

    • it works great it was made for rdas with more restrictive airflow but I use it with the thc solo single coil rda and it work fantastic no dry hits at all
