eGo Vs. eGo-C Twist

West Coast Vape Supply

To many of you that are familiar with the eGo series from Joyetech, you might be wondering why a comparison between the regular eGo and the eGo-C Twist is even needed. I completely understand, however… from a recent experience, I’ve learned some of the more newbie vapers still seek and ‘need’ this information.

A friend of mine whom I recently helped convert from tobacco cigarettes to electronic cigarettes purchased an eGo as his 3rd electronic cigarette. He tried e-cigs the first two times using shitty gas station sold stick styles despite my numerous times of advice. Of course, I recommend an eGo-C Twist, but a regular eGo will work in the least. After the two failed attempts of switching to electronic cigarettes, he finally took my advice, even though the day before I advised him to get the eGo-C Twist. After it was all said and done, I had to compare to the two so he could understand why I advised him to go with one than the other.

Features

Joyetech eGo:

  • Length: 650mAh – 72mm, 900mAh – 87mm, 1000mAh – 97mm
  • Weight: 650mAh – 26.5g, 900mAh – 32.0g, 1000mAh – 34.5g
  • Voltage: 3.2v (default)
  • Power: Lock/Unlock function (5 click)

Joyetech eGo-C Twist:

  • Length: 650mAh – 98mm, 900mAh – 111mm, 1000mAh – 121mm
  • Weight: 650mAh – 32.5g, 900mAh – 38.5g, 1000mAh – 42.0g
  • Voltage: Variable Voltage from 3.2v to 4.8v – 0.2v increments
  • Power: Lock/Unlock function (5 click)

There isn’t much of a strong comparison between these two. They are both essentially the same battery, yet the eGo-C Twist has its added internal Buck-Boost controller, which gives you the ability to increase and decrease the voltage output. With the added function to the eGo-C Twist, the Twist is of course longer than the original eGo.

The regular and first introduced eGo is a great electronic cigarette to start off with and usually can sustain the average beginner vaper. The battery life on the eGo is very reasonable, especially when using the 900mAh and 1000mAh. Though the eGo has proven to be an amazing all around e-cigarette for a beginner and intermediate vaper, it has been known to be kicked to the curb once a vaper becomes more of an advanced user. The intermediate user who is looking to go more advanced will tend to go with another electronic cigarette that delivers more power and typically longer battery life to accommodate the higher voltage use.

With that being said, the eGo-C Twist is the much wiser choice for an electronic cigarette. It has the ability to sustain you as a beginner with a lower voltage and as you grow in need, it will satisfy you when you’re hungry for more power. Out of the gate with the eGo-C Twist, you can dial in to the voltage that suits you, rather than being forced to stay at one certain voltage throughout your time with the device.
